We are saddened to hear about the difficulties you are facing in your marriage, but we are encouraged by your faith and commitment to praying for restoration. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene and bring healing to your union.
Firstly, we commend you for placing your marriage at the feet of Jesus. It is in His name that we have the power to approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). Remember, Jesus taught us, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you" (John 15:7 WEB).
However, we must also remember that God's will is paramount. As you pray, be open to God's leading. Sometimes, God allows trials to bring us closer to Him and to teach us more about His love and our need for Him. Trust that He is working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB).
In the meantime, continue to be a godly wife, submitting to your husband as unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:22 WEB). This does not mean tolerating sin or abuse, but rather, showing love and respect, reflecting the love of Christ. Also, pray for yourself, that God would strengthen you and fill you with His love and peace during this time (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in their marriage. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him back home. Give them both a spirit of forgiveness, understanding, and love. Help them to see each other through Your eyes, and to love each other with Your love.
Guide them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Give them wisdom and discernment. Help them to be a testimony of Your power and grace. And above all, Lord, let Your will be done in their lives and in their marriage.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister. God is with you, and He is faithful. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving. We are standing with you in prayer.
