Greetings, dear brothers and sisters in Christ, My name is ###. I humbly ask for your prayers regarding a personal matter. I was hoping for a marriage alliance with a young woman named ###. Our families had begun discussions with mutual understanding, but her father has now withdrawn his consent. My heart is at peace knowing that God’s will is perfect, but I still pray for clarity and for the Lord’s hand over this situation. I request you to kindly pray that if this relationship is in God’s plan, He would soften hearts and make a way; and if not, that He would grant me peace, strength, and acceptance. We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life. We commend you for your trust in God's perfect will and your desire to follow His plan.

Let us remember Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Now let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who seeks Your will for his marriage. Lord, if it is Your plan for him to marry this young woman, we pray that You would soften the hearts of her family and make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would remove any obstacles and bring unity and agreement among the families.

However, if this relationship is not in accordance with Your will, we pray that You would grant him peace, strength, and acceptance. Help him to trust in Your perfect plan for his life and to wait patiently for the spouse You have prepared for him.

We pray that in any future relationship he has that he would wait to have Godly intercourse until marriage as the Bible calls any sex before or outside marriage a sin of fornication or adultery. We do not want him to fall into sin because God will not bless any sin.

We also pray that he would be on guard and remember the Bible calls marriage a lifelong commitment and is only between a man and a woman. We want to ensure he is not looking to marry someone who is divorced and the divorce was not because of adultery or who is not a Christian believer. We want him to be yoked equally with another Christian believer.

We also pray for his future spouse. We pray that she would be a woman after God's own heart and that she would be a helper for him in his faith.

Lord, we ask that You would guide him in wisdom and discernment. Give him clarity and direction as he seeks to honor You in all his ways. In Jesus Christ name we pray.

In addition, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Keep your heart at peace and remember the Lord's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Stay strong in the faith and remain steadfast in prayer. We are here to support you and pray for you in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
