Love Them or Hate Them?

"You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:43-45
-Jesus-

Loving your enemies is not only consistent with Jesus' teachings but also His walk. He came down to earth to rescue God’s enemies, all those who transgressed the holy laws. He laboured for the sinners through His teachings and His miracles. He willingly gave His own life for them right up to the cross. He died on the cross but not before uttering the following:
"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
His enemies tortured Him but Jesus forgave them all. Jesus believed that His mission to save the unrighteous was well worth it. Should we not feel the same?
Forgiveness will stop hate dead in its tracks.

Heavenly Father, I know there are still a few people in my life that I'm bitter towards. I carry this baggage of anger and hurt. Give me the strength and humility to forgive them all. I am indeed a new creation and I willingly love and pray for all my enemies without expecting or needing anything in return, in the mighty name of our risen Saviour Jesus I pray, amen.

Love is the cornerstone of the new covenant.

If you hate anyone, or are angered about a coworker and do not pray for them to get saved then we will be full of guilt, sadness, loneliness and full of rejection, because Satan wants us all living so far away from Jesus. But if you start loving others, even those who ridicule you, reject every word you say and make fun of your witness for Jesus, God will bless your life with peace, joy and happiness. Fast and pray daily for any enemy you may have. They need Jesus and sometimes because of the emptiness in their soul, they say awful things about religion, God, Jesus or anything that deals with heaven or hell.

Let us all be just like Jesus, praying for His enemies. On the cross He said. Forgive them, o Lord, for they do not know what they do.

I love all my enemies, however, I have none of them. My boss is nice and all my friends. All my relatives and family members treat me nice and have no arguments with them. I continually pray for them to get saved and be on their way to heaven. It has been a blessing to my life to be free from anger and rage, Jesus took all negative feelings away from me. Ask and ye shall receive. So, I asked and He sent blessings upon blessings to my life and I am so thankful for that.
