Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his life. If it is Your desire for him to reconcile with his ex-girlfriend, we pray that You would make it clear and that both of their hearts would be drawn to You first. Help them to seek You and Your will for their lives.
If this relationship is not Your will, Father, we ask that You would heal his heart and prepare him for the spouse You have for him. Help him to trust in You and Your timing.
In either case, Lord, we pray that our brother would pursue righteousness, integrity, and holiness. Help him to grow in his faith and to become the man of God that You have called him to be.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
