God, what did I do wrong to move to a city where I have a couple busy friends and no dates to meet a husband? Help me! Teach me! Save me from loneliness. It hurts. Help my finances! It is hard alone! Thank you for your openness and trust in God's plans.

We are reminded in Psalm 147:3 "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

First, know that God has not forgotten you. He sees your loneliness and your pain. It's important to remember that God has a plan, and He wants to give you a hope and a future. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Now let's discuss the Christian belief that our walk with God is not simply isolation with God. We are called to be in the body of Christ, and the body of Christ is made up of many people and their talents. 1 Corinthians 12:14 WEB: "For the body is not one member, but many."

Since you mention you have a couple of busy friends, consider reaching out to them and being open about your feelings of loneliness. True friends will make time and support you. We know that we are Christians and brothers and sisters in Christ. When we reach out to our friends in Christ and we tell them how much we need them, they respond as Christians. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB says: "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."

Since you mention no dates to meet a husband, let's discuss that. We know that dating is not for the Christian. The old term for dating is courtship with the purpose of marriage. It is not possible to be a Christian and to accidentally marry a non-Christian. We must be in courtship with only Christian men and we must have the goal of marriage. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

You mentioned your finances. God wants us to depend on him, but we also have to be responsible for our finances. In Proverbs 21:5 WEB: "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."

Dear Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We pray that You will heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds. We ask that You will guide her and lead her to the place where you want her to be. Give her the wisdom to reach out to her friends and be open about her struggles. We pray that You will bring other Christians into her life to support and encourage her. Guide her to find a Christian spouse and bring her to your path of financial stability.

We thank you for your many blessings.

As for finding a husband, we believe God has someone special in mind for you. Trust in His timing. In the meantime, let's focus on growing in our relationship with Him. Remember, we can't outgive God. He has great plans for you, and we're excited to see what He's going to do in your life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
