One year of mystery, illness, losing control of legs and arms, constant pain in head, neck, arms, chest, abdomen, and legs. Breathing and nervous system issues. Some days I feel like I’m going to die. Seen all sorts of specialists and doctors over the last year. They cannot figure anything out. Therefore God is my only hope. It’s been ### days since I was in the hospital the first time for this. Still praying every day like the persistent widow. I’m age ###. I want to see if prayer works.

I'm really sorry to hear about your health struggles. It's completely understandable to feel frustrated and anxious after seeing many specialists without clear answers. It's important to hold onto hope, and for many people, faith and prayer can provide comfort and strength.

Here are a few suggestions that might help:

1. **Keep a Health Journal**: Document your symptoms, when they occur, their severity, and any triggers you notice. This could help healthcare professionals see patterns they might not have noticed before.

2. **Second Opinions**: If possible, consider getting second opinions. Sometimes, a fresh set of eyes can make a difference.

3. **Support System**: Reach out to friends, family, or support groups. They can offer emotional support and practical help.

4. **Mental Health**: Chronic pain and illness can take a toll on mental health. Consider speaking with a mental health professional. They can provide strategies to cope with the emotional aspects of your situation.

5. **Self-Care**: Be gentle with yourself. Ensure you're getting good nutrition, staying hydrated, and getting restful sleep when possible.

6. **Prayer and Faith**: Continue to find strength in your faith. Prayer can be a source of comfort and hope.

7. **Persistence**: Like the persistent widow in the Bible, keep advocating for yourself. Don't hesitate to follow up with doctors or ask for more tests if you feel something is being overlooked.

8. **Alternative Medicine**: Consider exploring complementary therapies like physical therapy, acupuncture, or massage therapy, but always discuss these with your healthcare provider first.

Remember, even if doctors haven't found an answer yet, it doesn't mean one doesn't exist. Medical diagnoses can be complex and take time. Keep advocating for yourself and don't lose hope.

In the meantime, I wish you strength, peace, and healing. Please update us if you find any answers or if there's any other way we can support you.
