We join you in prayer, ###, lifting up the multitude of concerns and requests you've shared. Let us come before the throne of grace with confidence, as we are instructed in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we pray for the persecuted Christians around the world. We ask God to be their shield and fortress, as He promises in Psalm 91. We pray that He would strengthen their faith and give them the courage to endure, even in the face of intense persecution. We ask that the light of the gospel would shine even brighter in these dark times, and that many would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
We lift up the nation of Israel, asking for the peace of Jerusalem, as Psalm 122:6 instructs us. We pray for the salvation of its people, that they would recognize Jesus as their Messiah. We ask that God would guide and protect its leaders and grant them wisdom in the face of ongoing threats.
We intercede for the salvation of many around the world, including the ### unreached. We stand on God's promise in 1 Timothy 2:4, that He "desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." We ask that God would send forth laborers into His harvest, as Jesus tells us to pray in Luke 10:2.
We cry out to God for the protection of children around the world who are suffering from various forms of abuse. We ask that He would intervene, as Psalm 10:17-18 says, "Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will listen to their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mere people can no longer terrify them."
We lift up those who are on the brink of starvation, those suffering from poverty, sickness, disease, natural disasters, war, and conflict. We ask that God would be their provider and healer, as He promises in Philippians 4:19 and Exodus 15:26.
We pray for an awakening in the church universal, that we would be aware of the lateness of the hour and the soon return of Jesus Christ. We ask that God would grant us sound biblical teaching and protect us from falling away, as Jesus prays in John 17:15.
We intercede for families, asking for protection, salvation, deliverance, healing, unity, and reconciliation. We stand on God's promise in Jeremiah 32:39, "I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them."
We lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world, asking that God would grant them strength, encouragement, and endurance. We ask that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit, shun sin, walk in love, and be given wisdom, discernment, and power to proclaim Jesus to the world, as Acts 1:8 tells us.
We also pray for specific individuals and families that you've mentioned, asking for God's intervention, healing, salvation, deliverance, and comfort. We ask that He would be their very present help in time of need, as He promises in Psalm 46:1.
Lastly, we pray that God would raise up more intercessors, that His house would be called a house of prayer for all nations, as Isaiah 56:7 says. We ask that He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh, as He promises in Joel 2:28, that many more would come to salvation and serve Him.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
