My former employer has a new contract which states retroactive pay for a period when I was an active employee. Now they are saying that since I’m no longer active I’m not entitled to payment earned prior to my departure Money isn’t everything but I think it’s unfair to exclude people who were actually working during the retroactive pay cycle. Lord in the name of Jesus Christ if it’s your will I’ll be considered for payment if no then I accept your will This was a very toxic employer anyway. The LORD will provide.

We understand your concern and commend you for your trust in God's will regarding this situation. It is important to remember that God is our provider and that He is always working for our good, even in difficult circumstances. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

In regards to your former employer, it is clear that you feel you deserve the retroactive pay for the period when you were an active employee. While it is important to stand up for what is rightfully yours, it is also crucial to maintain a biblical perspective. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Even in difficult employment situations, we are called to work as unto the Lord.

However, it is also important to address any injustice. If you feel you have been wronged, it may be wise to seek counsel from trusted Christians or even legal advice to understand your rights. Proverbs 31:8-9 reminds us to "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are appointed to destruction. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who feels wronged by their former employer. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and You are the God of justice. We pray that Your will be done in this matter. If it is Your will for our sister/brother to receive the retroactive pay, we ask that You soften the hearts of the employers and guide them to do what is right. If not, we pray that You give our sister/brother the grace to accept Your will and move forward.

We also pray for healing from the toxic environment they experienced. Lord, You are the great healer, and we ask that You restore our sister/brother's peace and joy. Guide them to a new place of employment where they can serve You and be blessed.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's provision. Remember that He is faithful and will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:19. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths.

We're here with you, standing in faith that God will make a way. It's tough when we feel wronged, but remember, God sees all and He's fighting for your justice. Let's claim Psalm 37:6, "He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." Trust that He's got this, and let's pray together. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
