Keep Watch!
We understand that our flesh is weak and it's predisposed to selfish behavior. We are instructed to pray and resist all temptations. We must keep watch over our heart, soul, and mind.

Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”
Matthew 26:41

Like in many other places throughout the bible, the words 'keep watch,' does not instruct us to look for an external threat, rather an internal threat. Keep yourself in check (aligned yourself in God's truth). Jesus instructed us to make the kingdom our priority in life and then all things will be added.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”​

Matthew 6:33-34

Have you set your priorities in life in order. You must seek the Kingdom of God and all of its righteousness as your number one priority. Once you have God first then you have indeed stood watch over your heart, forever changing it along with your priorities.

We must not succumb to temptation.
"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7

Be strong. Pray to God for strength.

With God all things are possible. Sin and evil surround us wherever we go and the devil is ready to make us fall and miss our way that leads to heaven. Do not let him do this to you. Keep the faith, keep believing. Jesus is right there to lead you on to His heaven. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

What is there to say before the Lord who is righteous and true? He is Creator of all good things and Redeemer of the lost and undone. What is there to read what has been written down and still lives through the ages and the ages to come? For the Lord is glorious and worthy of all praise. Keep your eyes open and see salvation comes from the Lord. He will keep you away from satan who comes around us to make us fall into depression, worry and fear. We struggle to find peace and joy in our life and cannot find, till we run to the arms of Jesus. The Fountain of all joy. He keeps calling us. Come unto Me and I will give you rest.
