When God tests a city, it is to prove their loyalty and love for Him. And how do we prove our love?

“If you love me, obey my commandments."
What are His commandments?
◄ Matthew 22:37-39 ►
³⁷Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ ³⁸This is the first and greatest commandment. ³⁹A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
A message for those cities to whom God has granted sports reward, even multiple reward, over the past three years of my assignment: Remember the honors that He has already bestowed upon you, and continue to trust in Him for the latter. Despite what the current situation may look like; we walk by faith not by sight. Therefore, let no one entice you with legions of rituals and false worship; for such constitutes "golden calf" mentality, which renders a quail of God's fury. Rather, fix your minds on Him, that your hearts be filled with His instructions, and yours shall be victory.
◄ Romans 12:2, (NIV) ►
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
God knows what is, and is not pleasing to Him. Therefore, do not allow others to cheat you out of your reward by misinfluencing you to set before The Sovereign God tainted offerings, or put on display that which He despises.
Amos 5:21-24
“I hate, I despise your religious festivals; your assemblies are a stench to me. ²² Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Though you bring choice fellowship offerings, I will have no regard for them. ²³ Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps. ²⁴ But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"
As in any race, endurance in the face of interference and opposition is what matters most. Walk not according to your own plans; but rather, continue to follow God's righteous instructions.

You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?
Please understand, there is no more perfect instruction than that of the only wise God.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly FATHER, most wise and righteous in all your ways: First and foremost, Thank You for the unmatched gift of Christ, our Lord and Savior. Thank You for your loving kindness and tender mercies. We bow before You in humbled repentance, asking and begging "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us." Please forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. With renewed minds, we present our bodies to You, a living sacrifice. Clothe us in Your character that we may become more and more like You in all our ways: And, create in us a clean heart, that we may know, understand, and submit to Your good and perfect will. Please help us to endure testing in our waiting period.
By the power and authority of the Holy Ghost, as touching the election of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, I pray in Jesus's name. Amen.
