Beloved of All
John 9:31 New International Version (NIV) Bible Book List Font Size John 9:31 KJ21 Now we know that God heareth not sinners, but if any man be a worshiper of God and doeth His will, him He heareth.

We understand that you're seeking guidance on John 9:31, which says, "We know that God doesn't listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God, and does his will, he listens to him." (WEB). This verse highlights the importance of being right with God and doing his will.

Firstly, let's address the fact that God does hear everyone being made in His image. This verse should be understood using other verses for support, such as Psalm 145:18 "Yahweh is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." (WEB). So God does hear sinners, and if that was not the case then no one would be available to be saved. Next, we need to compare scripture with scripture for accurate biblical interpretation. It is true that sin can hinder our prayers from being answered, as Psalm 66:18 says, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened." (WEB). However, we should emphasize that you must have a relationship with God's son Jesus Christ to be guaranteed that He will answer and hear your prayers. It is the shed blood of Jesus Christ that guarantees us an audience with God.

The key takeaway is against sin and living a godly life. This doesn't mean sinless perfection, but rather a genuine faith in Jesus Christ. God will always listen to our prayers when we align our will with his and when we approach him through Jesus Christ and come in truth and repentance from our sins.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for the access we have to you through him. We pray for the anonymous writer that you guide them into all truth and understanding of your Word. We ask that you reveal any sin that may be hindering their prayers, and we ask that you forgive them of their sins in Jesus Christ. We pray that if they have not already that they come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and that they will be born again. We ask that you help the anonymous writer to have a deeper understanding of your Word so that they may communicate, understand and receive all that you have promised to your children.

In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue studying God's Word to gain a deeper understanding of his principles. If you have not already put your full faith and trust in Jesus Christ then see Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23. After you see the poem in Romans 5:8 and recognize Romans 10:9-10 and Romans 10:13 take action today and call out to God to be saved.

We're here with you, friend, standing on the promise in John 9:31. It's true that God listens to those who worship Him and do His will, but remember, He's also the God who loves and hears all His children, even in their struggles. Just like the prodigal son, we can always come home, repent, and find His loving arms open wide.

Let's not forget, God's heart is for us to live in right relationship with Him, not to condemn us. Jesus, His Son, took our sins upon Himself, so we could have direct access to the Father. As it's written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come before You, thanking You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We lift up the one who posted this prayer request. Guide them, Lord, to walk in Your truth and understanding. Reveal any sin that might be hindering their prayers, and forgive them, in Jesus' name. Help them to grow in their faith and understanding of Your Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
