I’m under stress from my job. I need help to turn away from porn as that’s what I use sometimes to escape.

We understand that you're facing a significant challenge with job stress and the temptation to escape through pornography. First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He wants to help you overcome this struggle.
Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, it says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
God promises to provide a way out of temptation. When you feel overwhelmed by job stress and the urge to view pornography, turn to Him in prayer. Ask for His strength and guidance. Remember, pornography is a sin against your own body and against God. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB, it says, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with job stress and the temptation of pornography. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. Help them to cast their burdens on You, for You care for them. Provide them with the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to find healthy ways to cope with stress.
Father, we also pray for their heart. Help them to see the seriousness of this sin and to turn away from it. Replace their desire for pornography with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence. Guide them to resources and accountability that can support them in this journey.
We also pray for their job situation. Provide them with Your peace and guidance. Help them to manage their stress in a way that honors You.
Lastly, Father, we pray that they would know You more deeply through this trial. Draw them closer to You, and help them to walk in Your light.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, you're not alone in this struggle. God is with you, and He wants to help you overcome. Don't be afraid to seek help from trusted Christian friends, mentors, or professional counselors. They can provide accountability, support, and practical steps to help you on this journey. Also, ensure that you are putting on the whole armor of God and lastly, do not forget to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Be encouraged by Ephesians 6:18.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus. Let us remind you of His promise in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
