We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your wife's job interview today. It's wonderful to see her eager to pursue this opportunity. Firstly, let's remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. ( II Timothy 1:7 )
In times of nervousness, it's essential to trust in the Lord.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. ( Proverbs 3:5-6 )
For all anxiety or nervousness, cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. ( I Peter 5:7 )
Regarding the struggles you mentioned, we are reminded that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. ( 2 Corinthians 12:9 )
Encourage your wife to take heart and be confident in her abilities, knowing that God is with her.
Let us pray together for your wife:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ as she prepares for her job interview. We ask, Lord, that You would grant her a spirit of calm and peace, casting out all anxiety and nervousness. Help her to trust in You and to rely on Your strength through any difficulties or challenging questions. Give her clarity of thought, wisdom, and the right words to speak during the interview.
We pray that You would open the doors that need to be opened and close the ones that need to be closed so that she will be in the place You want her to be. May You provide the employment that You see fit for her, according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for her struggles. We ask that You would heal her and help her overcome any obstacles. May You use this interview as an opportunity for growth and to draw her closer to You.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is only through His blood shed on the cross for our sins that we have access to You.
Amen.
Lastly, remind your wife to take heart and be confident in her abilities, knowing that God is with her. She should not be afraid to be bold and ask for the job with a righteous heart. Encourage her, tell her you believe in her, and assure her of your love and support.
