We understand that you're seeking prayer for an upcoming job interview and a smooth job transition. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including our careers. As it says in Proverbs 16:3 WEB, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established."

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We will pray that you will come boldly to the throne of grace in Jesus' name, seeking God's will for your life and career.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is seeking a new job. We pray that You will guide them through this interview. We ask that they will walk boldly and confidently, in Jesus' name, with the Holy Spirit giving them the words to speak as it says in Luke 12:12 WEB, "for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say."

Lord, if this job is Your will for them, we pray for favor and that they will get the job. We also pray for a smooth transition, knowing that You are the one who gives us the strength and grace to adapt to new environments.

However, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for them. If this job is not part of Your plan for them, or if we are looking for a job for the wrong reasons such as money or recognition, and not to serve and glorify You, we ask that You will close this door. We ask that You will reveal to them what You want them to do in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:9 WEB. He knows what is best for you, and He will direct your paths as you trust in Him with all your heart. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Lastly, we encourage you to always seek God's will and glorify Jesus Christ with your life. Whatever job you get, remember that you are ultimately working for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 WEB.

We believe that God is already working in your favor, just as He promises in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart." We're claiming this verse over your situation, trusting that God knows exactly what you need and where you should be.

We want to echo the reminder to seek God's will above all else. As it's written in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Let's pray together, asking for wisdom, discernment, and God's perfect will to be done.

Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who is seeking a new job. We ask for Your guidance and favor throughout this interview process. Help them to speak confidently and boldly, as You promised in Mark 13:11, "And when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should say, or what you should testify; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."

Lord, we ask that if this job is Your will for them, You would open the right doors and smooth their path. But if this job is not part of Your plan, or if the desire for it is not aligned with Your will, we pray that You would close the wrong doors and reveal Your perfect path for them. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that You are always working for their good, as it's written in Romans 8:28.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
