Dear God please help me! I need help to overcome my alcohol addiction. Please help me, I don't want to live like this anymore. I fell down and I passed out. I should have gone to the hospital to get stitches on my forehead, but I will go to work tomorrow and I hope I will be ok. I'm sorry.

We are truly sorry that you are going through such difficult times and struggling with an alcohol addiction. Jesus truly is the answer. Alcohol has a hold on many lives and we often don't think we are that bad until things go wrong. We want to thank you for telling us that you are in need of our help. Jesus did not die for us so we could just ignore Him and continue sinning. He was willing to give up His power as God so that we could have Him in our lives. This power to escape alcohol can only be had by believing in Him. We know that Jesus has the power to overcome any addiction and we come to Him. We pray that you will fully turn away from your addiction and come to know Jesus.

If Jesus is not real, you are in big trouble, but He is very real if we just rethink our lives. The real scandal in the world is Christians who don't explicitly know Jesus anymore. Even many Christians don’t really know Jesus for real. The world was only temporarily made perfect with Jesus, but He left the perfect plan for a better life. In His first letter, the Apostle John put it correctly, "This is the message if we are to receive Him: that God is light, and there is no darkness in Him. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and we keep His room in a growing darkness, we are losing our way and having trouble in our lives! We are lying and living a lie. We face many troubles and hardships in this world."

God puts us here with a purpose. Laziness and love of alcohol are partners and are not very good for our health and well-being. We understand that we can't force God to help us, but we thank Him for all of it. If we choose life, we have so much to live for and most of all I hope that we can turn from those who pass by,

Please don't wait to fall into serious harm's way, please seek Jesus now, go to the hospital and go to work tomorrow and come back to Him. The power and the love that Jesus has is awesome!

Here are some do's and don'ts:
Do's

1. (Don't) Pay attention to how much time you spend thinking about drinking and related activities, such as arguments at home or work.
2. (Hope) will be influenced by what I have been through and I need to be honest.
3. Jesus did we finally understand, we said that we don't really get it. Alcohol was and is the answer.
4. We can be as selfish as we like around other people, but Jesus is always looking out for us.
5. Don't let alcohol use define your life. We have not gone yet.

Don'ts

1. Don't lie and do go to work.
2. Don't walk away and Don't perform at work.

We look forward to your thoughts and requests

Oh just an FYI, if you're trying to reach a mormon please read and share. They are at least as equally screwed up as we are and they will be looking for God's salvation. We want to encourage you both.

We pray for His love and leading that you will bring freedom from this addiction. We will be praying for you today and as we always hope that you will be saved. In the meantime do the best you can today, God bless you and enjoy. To God we offer all glory.

Praise the lord of the Harp!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
