Prayer for the soul of the late pastor ###:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up the soul of Your servant, ###, who has departed from this world. We thank You for the time You gave him/her to serve Your church and community. We ask that You would comfort his/her family and friends during this time of grief and loss.

Lord, we pray that You would welcome ### into Your eternal kingdom, where there is no more pain or suffering. We ask that You would grant him/her eternal peace and joy in Your presence.

We also pray for the church and community that ### served. May they find strength and encouragement in Your Word and in the fellowship of believers. May they continue to grow in faith and love, following the example that ### set.
