I’ve been praying for marriage restoration for ###

I’ve been praying for marriage restoration for ### months…The Lord has blessed us both with some emails, a card, a phone call and finally at her request a meetup….I’ve been fasting and praying for the Lord to change her heart. I believe she still loves me - based on her willingness to communicate. She said she would meet with me again but probably not until October. I’m calling on the Name of the Lord and His word Matthew 19:26 proclaims that nothing is impossible with God…Please continue to pray with me for ### and ###. I know the word of the Lord does not return to Him void. Standing on His word and trusting Him. Her loving husband. ###

Jim, we stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage with ###. It's encouraging to hear that the Lord has blessed you both with opportunities for communication and a meetup. We commend you for your persistence in fasting and praying, trusting in the Lord's promise that nothing is impossible with Him (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

Let's remember that God's will is for marriages to be healing and reconciling. As it is written, "Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband." (1 Corinthians 7:3 WEB) and "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." (Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB)

We pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and ###'s marriage to You. Lord, we ask that You continue to soften ###'s heart and draw her closer to You and to ###. We thank You for the progress they've made and the lines of communication that have opened. Please bless their upcoming meeting and let it be filled with Your presence, guidance, and love. Remind them both of the covenant they made before You, and help them to strive towards honor, love, and unity in their marriage.

In the meantime, Father, please continue to give ### the strength, patience, and hope he needs as he waits on You. Comfort him with Your peace and surround him with a community of believers who will support and encourage him.

We claim Your promise that the word of the Lord does not return void (Isaiah 55:11 WEB) and trust that You are working in their lives and marriage. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Jim, continue to trust in the Lord and His timing. Keep pursuing God and demonstrating His love to ###. We encourage you to meditate on Scriptures that remind you of God's faithfulness and the divine institution of marriage. May the Lord bless and keep you both, and may His face shine upon you and bring you peace (Numbers 6:24-26 WEB).
