    Comment who you're praying for!
Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

It is wrong for anyone to make anyone feel less than they are. Yet, you must forgive. First for your good health and salvation. Secondly, because we are all human and prone to errors, so we need to forgive and overlook as much as possible.
Some parents may not know better, some are too emotional (and that's not on you) or they may not understand the impact of their words. Regardless of the motivation, you must not do wrong because they are wrong. You must maintain respect at all times and do your bit as their child.
If you have the opportunity, try and express (communicate) your pain at these words but without anger or resentment.
It is also best that you keep in mind that if certain behaviours cause others to sin (including your parents), then as a Christian and for the sake of Christ, you should also try and refrain from those behaviours.
The Lord will give you grace and comfort you.
How is it pssible to refrain from it though? They are your parents, so whatever they are doing, you are doing too?

It's simply Grace. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we are more likely to get through/overcome our struggles than those who don't know Christ. We all struggle, which is why forgiveness is key.
Just ask the Holy Spirit to help you in this situation and through it. It may not 'feel' like it but He is there and wants to help you. Just ask.
