Watching a livestream with people is not inherently a sin. However, we need to be cautious and ensure that our viewership falls under the will of God.
The Bible tells us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8 WEB). This verse guides us to focus our minds and eyes on things that are virtuous and worthy of praise. If the livestream promotes ungodly behavior or distracts you from your relationship with the Lord, it could be harmful.
If the livestream does not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to refrain from it. God commands us, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2 WEB).
Since salvation was mentioned, we want to ensure that you have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved, as the Bible tells us, "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and wisdom. We pray that You will reveal to us any areas of our lives that do not align with Your will, including our viewing habits. If the livestream mentioned is not glorifying to You, we ask that You give us the strength to turn away from it.
We also pray for the salvation of the one who submitted this request. If they have not already done so, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, resulting in their salvation.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
