Is rudeness a sin?

I'm not a fan of rude people.And I'm not a masochist,either, so I don't like being mistreated by them.And nowadays, as 2 Timothy points out, people are getting worse.That being said,is rudeness a sin? Some sins are specified in the Bible, others we have to "look deeper" to see if they are. We don't find the word "rude" in the Bible, BUT Jesus DID say, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".Now I'm sure these people who treat others disrespectfully, and like garbage,they wouldn't themselves want to be treated like that. So isn't that a form of NOT doing unto others as you would have them do unto you?So when someone has a lifestyle of being rude{cutting the line, then getting mad at you if you don't like it, blasting the car horn 1/8 of a second after the light changes,{and other forms of impatience}talking to someone,and the other person is standing right next to the one they're talking to, yet they snub you, looking at them, and they either turn their head the other way, or close their eyes to avoid looking at you, or what I experienced in New York, maybe a bike messenger cutting you off when walking, then if you speak out on that, they either give you the finger, laugh at you, or even circle around to want to fight you--holding the door for their "clique", but you're right behind them and they let it slam on you--I've had problems with rude people for years--this attitude that"because you're a stranger, you're not important enough to be courteous to"--no, the Bible doesn't mention the word "rude" that I know of, BUT because this attitude of disrespect to others is a form of selfishness, and because they're not doing unto others as they would have them do unto them, if I were to answer that question, I would say rudeness is a sin.{"Because of the increase in inequity, the love of the greater number will wax cold".}

By their fruits ye shall know them. Whatever they do or say tell us what kind of person he or she is. All Christians should imitate Jesus. Smile, be happy, by joyful and know that this world is not our home, we are here just for a little and then we shall depart planet earth for good. So, let our lives shine for Jesus. If you see rude and nasty people saying awful things around, bow down before the Lord and pray for that lost soul. He or she is full of bitterness and unhappiness. They really need the Lord. O God, please, save them, give them peace and joy in their short lives, send happines to their tormented soul. In Jesus name. Amen

Love what Jesus said to all of us about this issue on being nasty and rude. Love one another as I have loved you. If you love others will never ever be rude or nasty. Instead, you will be so nice, helpful, kind and good to those who are lost. Practice on being the best follower of Jesus. Love others just as Jesus loved us.

Rude people are not saved. They need our prayers to get saved and change their attitude. Real Christians who love the Lord will alway be nice and polite. Just be like Jesus full of love, mercy and compassion toward the lost.

When God called Cain to inquire about Abel his brother Cain answered disrespectfully (rude) to His Creater,I. believe this was fruits of sin because by then he was being controlled by another master after murdering His brother rudeness is as in it is the language of hell

I don't think it is representative of Christ, no. That is the major issue and not to get political because I think he is done a lot of good things but President Trump's name calling etc like he does on Twitter and then talking about God the next minute to me isn't a good witness. Just my two cents. Wish he would tone the bullying stuff down. I realize many go after him too but when you are the President you are supposed to be a calming influence.

Do we pray for President Trump as the Bible said in 1 Tim 2:1-8?
