Thank you for bringing your concerns and prayers to us, and we are grateful that you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus, as this is the only way we can approach God the Father. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your daughter's interview and future employment.
Firstly, we are reminded of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We can trust that God hears our prayers and will grant your daughter peace and confidence as she attends her interview.
Regarding your daughter's interview we can also be assured of God's promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." While it is important to work and provide for our families, we must remember that God is our ultimate provider, and He will supply the job He has prepared for us.
As your daughter prepares for her interview, remind her of the wisdom in Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." This will help her have the right attitude and give her best effort during the interview.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter before Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You fill her daughter with Your confidence and peace, casting out all fear and nervousness. Guide her by Your Holy Spirit, bringing to her remembrance all that she has prepared. Help her to perform well in her interview, and if it is Your will, grant her success and grant her the job.
However, we also pray that Your will be done in her life. If this job is not part of Your plan for her, we ask that You close this door gently and open a better one. We trust in Your perfect plan for her life and believe that You will provide for all her needs according to Your riches in glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, as we think about and plan for future employment, it is important to seek God's will and be in a state of thanksgiving. While praying for a job in order to ease financial burden is appropriate, it is important to realize that God is our provider and will meet our needs. We do not have to live in desperation. That is why we pray for God's will and put Him first in our lives. Continue to trust in God, and encourage your daughter to do the same.
