We understand that you're going through a difficult time with your family, especially concerning your inheritance and the behavior of your family members. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is just and He cares about every detail of our lives. Let's bring your situation before Him in prayer.
Let us first address your concerns about your inheritance. Remember in First Timothy 6:6-10 WEB:
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
We pray that you will be content with what you have and that your trust will be in God rather than in riches. We pray that your mother will be fair in her dealings and think equally towards each child. God will honor her for that decision. God knows your needs even before you ask. Trust Him to provide for you in His own way and timing.
Regarding the behavior of your family members, Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:44 WEB:
"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
Let's pray for them as Jesus commanded.
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come to you in Your Name and also bring our brother/sister before you. We pray for this family and ask you to intervene in their situation. We pray that you soften the hearts of the family members and bring peace among them. Help them to love and respect each other as You have loved us. We also pray for the health of the father and ask for Your healing touch upon him.
We want to rebuke you for your request not being clear about asking for all this in Jesus Name. It is only in the name of Jesus we have access to God. And there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Lord Jesus, if the family members do not know You personally we ask that You reveal Yourself to them. Let them experience the love, peace, and joy that only You can give. Change their hearts and let them be a source of blessing and not frustration and pain.
We also pray for the person who submitted this request, that You will give them strength and patience. Help them to forgive and love their family members, even when it's difficult. Teach them to trust in You for all their needs.
We ask all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, remember the words of Psalm 37:5-6 WEB:
"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noonday."
Trust in the Lord and commit your ways to Him. He will bring justice and make your righteousness shine like the brightest day. Stay strong in your faith and keep praying for your family.
