We live in the moment; for tomorrow is not promised. I get it. Indeed, a city can do nothing more than to walk in the "here and now," even when the path she takes, and the misteps she makes is sometimes at the ill-instruction of her own religious leaders, whom Jesus referred to as blind guides - among other colorful adjectives. It is because of this, that (from generation to generation) God sends forth His prophets to speak His Word of warning.
Matthew 23:34 Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.

Prophets flow in the "What's to come."
All too iften, man get hung up on titles. Yet, I thank God for every title with which He has endowed me. I particularly love the Hebrew translation of the word Prophet (Nabi): it literally means "to bubble up." It describes one who is stirred up in spirit. When the sense of "bubbling up" is applied to speaking, it becomes "to declare." Hence, a nabi, or a prophet, is an announcerβone who pours forth the declarations of God.
Immediately, upon reading that, God brought to memory my recent prophetical task of speaking at the Temple, where I stood out in the front courtyard, next to the church's bubbling fountain.
A song in my spirit:
"My soul loves Jesus. My soul loves Jesus. My soul loves Jesus. Bless His name."
"He's a wonder in my soul. He's a wonder in my soul. He's a wonder in my soul. Bless His name."
-----That's what I call one the those "infinity songs" (never ending) - Just when you think it's over and the deacons are done; the mothers of the church take over; then, here comes the pastor starting it up all over again. Praise Him!!! Makes me want to throw my Bible at somebody and take off running. (It's a good thing)
This siphoning thing is like taking candy from a baby - some say. Perhaps too easy. How many of you know that you don't mess with God's little ones?
