Today is my child's birthday. We are estranged; I wish him happy birthday. - Thank you for your prayers.

We are truly saddened to hear about the estrangement between you and your child, especially on their birthday. We want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation, as the Bible tells us in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB:

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this parent who is in agony over the estrangement from their child. Lord, You know the details of their relationship and the pain that they are experiencing. We ask that You would soften both of their hearts and draw them back together. Help them to forgive each other and to reconcile their differences.

Lord, we also pray for this child on their birthday. We ask that You would bless them and draw them closer to You. We pray that they would come to know the love and forgiveness that is found only in a relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ.

We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we could be reconciled to You and to each other. Amen.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We are called to pray and encourage each other according to James 5:16 WEB

Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

Stay strong in the Lord and continue to pray for your child and your relationship with them. Trust that God is working in both of your lives and that He desires for you to be reconciled.

We're here with you today, feeling the weight of your heartache on your child's birthday. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is always near, even in the most trying times. Let's lift our voices together, "Dear Lord, we stand with this parent, their heart heavy with longing for their child. Lord, You see their pain, You understand their agony. We ask that You would comfort them, remind them of Your unfailing love. Help them to hold onto hope, to trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
