We're right there with you, feeling the same unease about pretending in an Easter play. It's a reminder that God wants us to be genuine, just as it says in Ephesians 4:25, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor."
Let's pray together, shall we? Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who's feeling uncomfortable about this Easter play. We know You see their heart and understand their desire to be authentic. Please guide them, Lord. Help them to honor You in this situation, and if possible, to convey the truth of Easter - the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the salvation message.
We ask that You use this event to touch lives, planting seeds of faith and belief in Jesus. You know each person involved, so we pray that You'll touch their lives in a meaningful way. If this event isn't honoring You, please guide our friend to a path that does.
If our friend hasn't accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You'll use this Easter event to touch their heart, leading them to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it's okay to feel uncomfortable, but God can use our willingness to glorify His name. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to discuss them with the event coordinators and God. May He guide you in all that you do.
