Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of ###, seeking Your divine help and guidance. Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Father, we ask that You search ###'s heart and mind, and cleanse any impure thoughts that may reside there.
Your Word also reminds us in Psalm 19:12, "Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults." Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any hidden faults and impure thoughts that ### may be struggling with. We stand on the promise of 1 John 1:9, which says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
Father, we lift up Psalm 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." We pray that ###'s heart remains humble and contrite before You, seeking Your grace and mercy.
Thank You, Lord, for Your promise in Isaiah 43:25, "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for My own sake, and remembers your sins no more." Thank You for blotting out ###'s transgressions and for Your mercy that is new every morning.
We ask for Your wisdom and guidance as stated in Proverbs 4:23, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Help ### to guard the heart and mind diligently.
Lord, we know that "the mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace" (Romans 8:6). We pray for ### to have a mind governed by Your Spirit, filled with life and peace.
Father, we take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ, as stated in 2 Corinthians 10:5. Help ### to renew the mind and attitude, as Ephesians 4:22-23 instructs.
Purify ### with hyssop, and make this soul clean; wash, and make whiter than snow (Psalm 51:7). Finally, Lord, we pray that ### will focus on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy, as Philippians 4:8 advises.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
