Let us come together in prayer for your family.
We first address the situation of unemployment and the risk of losing your house. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB): "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?" God knows your needs and He cares for you deeply. Trust in Him to provide for all your needs.
Let's also address the issue of sexual addiction and infidelity. We commend your husband for taking steps to heal and seek accountability. This is a serious matter that needs to be addressed biblically.
First Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB) says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Praying together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and provision. We pray for this husband, asking that You would deliver him from sexual addiction and infidelity. Give him strength and wisdom to walk in purity, to continue to walk the narrow road. The Lord Jesus Christ said, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." We pray for him to seek the virtue of a holy life. Forgive him of his sins, and help him to live a life that honors You and his wife.
Father, we also ask that You would provide a full-time remote job for this husband. Open the doors of opportunity, and give him favor in the eyes of potential employers. We trust in Your promise to provide for all our needs according to Your riches in glory.
We rebuke the enemy's attacks against this family. No weapon formed against them will prosper. We pray for their peace, protection, and provision in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also pray for this sister's health. We ask that You would heal her and enable her to support her husband and family as You will.
In all things, let Your will be done.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both of you to continue to seek God together, to pray together, and to support each other in love. Remember the words of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (WEB): "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one keep warm alone? If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
Stand strong in faith, and trust in the Lord.
