We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We will stand with you in prayer and encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness, even in the midst of these challenges.
Firstly, we want to commend you for your faith and determination to hold on to God, no matter what. This reminds us of the words of Paul in Romans 8:38-39 WEB: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
In the face of your losses, financial struggles, and the upcoming challenge of homelessness, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. God is still good, and He is still in control. Remember the words of Psalm 34:17-18 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
However, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God in prayer. John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and his/her son. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the losses they have endured, and the uncertainty they are experiencing. We ask, Father, that You would be their rock and their fortress in this time of need. Provide for them, Lord, and guide them to a place of safety and security.
We also pray for their faith, Father. Strengthen them and help them to remain steadfast in their trust in You. Remind them of Your goodness and Your unfailing love, even in the darkest of times.
Lastly, we pray for their relationship with You, Father. Draw them closer to You, and help them to know You more. We pray for the salvation of their teen son if he does not yet know You.
We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please send up more prayers as needed.
