Need prayer as I'm trying to be patient

So I been having problems with one of my grandsons ###, past couple days things seemed better as I believe there's power in prayer and I haven't given up. So he was home relaxing doing homework and was going to sleep after that so that we could go to church in morning. He came downstairs around ###pm and days he has to go somewhere that he forgot it was saturday until he got a text from someone. The text he got was from his father's girlfriend they wanted him to go out and party with them and friends. How I know this is I know her number and seen the texts on his phone before he left. I stayed calm didn't want to blow up and say the wrong things. I just prayed and of course was in tears after he left because I know his father and her will let him drink, and do whatever. He was doing fine till that text from them, and we planned to go to church. Why do I feel the enemy interfered here?

Firstly, let's acknowledge God's sovereignty. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Indeed, it feels as if the enemy has interfered, but remember that God is in control.

We commend you for staying calm and turning to prayer. As Psalm 120:1 WEB says, "In my distress, I cried to the LORD. He answered me." Let's continue to pray for ###.

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her grandson ###. Lord, we know that Your will is for ### to live a life dedicated to You. We pray that the plans of the enemy be thwarted and that ### would be drawn to You. We ask that You would protect him from harm and guide his steps. Give ### peace, wisdom, and the words to speak to ### about this situation. Help her to be a light that guides him back to the path You have for him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's address the issue of ###'s father and his girlfriend. It's important to remember that as believers, we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Their influence seems to be leading ### astray. Pray that God would also work in their hearts, but more importantly, pray that ### would discern right from wrong and choose to follow God's path.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue being a godly influence in ###'s life. Keep pointing him towards Jesus. Remember, it's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting that God has a plan for ###'s life.
