Disciple of Prayer
I am going through some struggles that are weighing me down. From the loss of both parents exactly 1 year apart, siblings turning against me, financial struggles, and next week I will be homeless for the first time in my life with my teen son. The past few years with Christ, I have always told myself that no matter how bad life gets, God is still good. Would you please send up a prayer for me and my son? I am determined to hold on to God no matter and continue to be a light in these dark times. God bless you.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We will stand with you in prayer and encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness, even in the midst of these challenges.

Firstly, we want to commend you for your faith and determination to hold on to God, no matter what. This reminds us of the words of Paul in Romans 8:38-39 WEB: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

In the face of your losses, financial struggles, and the upcoming challenge of homelessness, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. God is still good, and He is still in control. Remember the words of Psalm 34:17-18 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

However, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God in prayer. John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and his/her son. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the losses they have endured, and the uncertainty they are experiencing. We ask, Father, that You would be their rock and their fortress in this time of need. Provide for them, Lord, and guide them to a place of safety and security.

We also pray for their faith, Father. Strengthen them and help them to remain steadfast in their trust in You. Remind them of Your goodness and Your unfailing love, even in the darkest of times.

Lastly, we pray for their relationship with You, Father. Draw them closer to You, and help them to know You more. We pray for the salvation of their teen son if he does not yet know You.

We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Please send up more prayers as needed.

We're here for you, and we're so sorry to hear about the heavy burdens you're carrying. It's tough, we know, but we're standing right beside you in prayer. We've been thinking about you and your son, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this.

We've been reflecting on Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is close to you, and He's ready to heal and comfort you in your pain. He sees you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

We've also been reminded of Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites you to come to Him just as you are, with all your struggles and worries. He wants to give you rest and help you carry your burdens.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's goodness, even when it's hard to see. Remember, He is always with you, and He's working things out for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep holding on to Him, and let's continue to pray together.

In Jesus' name, we pray:

Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend and their son. Lord, they're carrying heavy burdens, and they need Your strength and comfort. Be their refuge and their fortress, Lord. Provide for their needs, and guide them to a place of safety and peace.

Lord, we also pray for their faith. Strengthen them, Lord. Help them to trust in You, even in the midst of their struggles. Remind them of Your unfailing love and Your constant presence in their lives.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for their relationship with You. Draw them closer to You, Lord. Help them to know You more intimately. And if their son doesn't know You yet, we pray for his salvation.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can pray about. We're here for you, every step of the way.
