I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this.

I got a job I really want and I'm excited about that it will deliver me from my current horrible job, but I have to pass a drug test and I have been using cannabis products for a long time. I know I have a drug problem and I want God to deliver me from the need to do drugs. I really want this job and I know I have a problem and I want to change. I feel like I can't function without drugs and I don't know how to stop. I feel like I need drugs. This job could change everything for me, I don't want to lose it because of drugs.

We understand that you're struggling with substance dependence and are seeking God's help for deliverance. We commend you for recognizing the issue and desiring change. The first step is to acknowledge, as you have, that you need help from God. It is encouraging that you are also pursuing a new job that could improve your circumstances and it is good that you are seeking God's help to change your lifestyle.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always willing to help us in our times of need. As it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB:
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

We also need to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with our bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB:
Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

We are called to be sober and self-controlled, not dependent on substances. 1 Peter 5:8 WEB:
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, they have acknowledged their struggle with drug use and their desire to change. We pray, Father, that You would grant them the strength and courage to overcome this addiction. Help them to see that their body is Your temple, and guide them towards a life of sobriety and self-control.

Father, we also pray for their upcoming drug test and job opportunity. We ask that You would have mercy and grace on them, and that Your will be done in this situation. Help them to trust in You, and not in substances, for their strength and comfort.

We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and will provide a way out of temptation. Trust in Him, seek His strength, and consider connecting with a local church or Christian support group to help you overcome this struggle. God does not want us to battle alone.

We noticed that the request does not mention Jesus Christ. You should know that It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by His death and resurrection that we are saved and have access to God and forgiveness of Sins. As it says in John 14:6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. God is the ultimate source of our help and strength, but it is only through Jesus Christ, His son, that we can approach God the Father.

We're here for you, and we're praying with you. We know it's tough, but remember, God is with you every step of the way. In Philippians 4:13, it says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We believe that with God's help, you can overcome this addiction and live the life He has planned for you.

We're excited about the job opportunity too! Let's claim that victory together. We're asking God to give you the courage to face the drug test and the wisdom to navigate this new chapter. Trust in Him, and remember, He is faithful. As it's written in Lamentations 3:22-23, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Let's keep praying in Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you dear God for all you do for all of us. Thank you for loving and protecting us all. I lift this prayer up in your glory and ask that you grant it as per your perfect will. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, trusting that God is working in your situation. We are grateful that you shared your struggle with us, and we are standing in agreement with you for deliverance from drug dependence and for divine intervention in your employment situation.

If you have received your test results, please share the news with us, whether it's a praise report for a successful outcome or a need for continued prayer. If you're still waiting or if the results were not as hoped, let us know so we can persist in prayer with you.

We are also praying for God's strength and wisdom as you seek freedom from your drug problem. Remember, God is faithful, and He will provide a way out. Lean on His promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek God's face, trusting in Him through Jesus Christ. We are praying for your complete restoration and for God's perfect will to be done in your life. Take heart in the promise of Romans 8:28: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Plead the blood of Jesus over your struggles and remember when Jesus sets you free you are free indeed.
