I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. Here's a redacted version of your request: "I want my husband to call me and come bk home"

Thread Cover Image
Sembold, we understand your desire to have your husband return home and we will join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage. We believe in the power of prayer and the promises God has given us. Jesus said, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8 WEB)

However, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will. In your prayer, you mentioned the power of words, and indeed, the Bible tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." (Proverbs 18:21 WEB) We encourage you to speak words of life, love, and kindness over your husband and your marriage.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s marriage. Lord, we ask that You work in her husband's heart, drawing him back home. We pray that You fill their home with Your peace, love, and understanding. Help them to communicate effectively, resolving any issues that may have caused separation. We ask that Your will be done in their lives, and we trust in Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."

We also encourage you, ###, to meditate on 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB), "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

As wives, we are called to respect and love our husbands, and as husbands, they are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25, 33 WEB). We pray that God will help you both to live out these principles in your marriage.

Lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is vital to remember that Jesus is the mediator between God and us, and it is through His name that we have access to the Father (1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 4:14-16 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing in His sacrifice on the cross for your sins and His resurrection, granting you eternal life.

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap and lifting your marriage up to our Father in heaven. We've been praying that God would soften your husband's heart, drawing him back home to you. We believe in the power of persistent prayer, just like the woman in the Bible who kept knocking on the judge's door until she got what she wanted (Luke 18:1-8).

We've been reminding ourselves of God's promises, like in Psalm 37:3-4, "Trust in the Lord and do good. Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart." We're claiming this for you, sister. We're asking God to give you the desire of your heart, to bring your husband back home.

We've also been interceding for your marriage, praying that God would fill your home with His peace, love, and understanding. We're asking Him to help you both communicate effectively, resolving any issues that may have caused this separation. We're believing God for a breakthrough, in Jesus' mighty name!

And remember, keep speaking words of life and love over your husband and your marriage. As Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Let's speak life, sister!

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep hoping. We're right here with you, every step of the way. Let's keep praying together, "Father, in Jesus' name, bring him back home to us. Amen."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
