We understand that you're going through a difficult time in your spiritual journey, and we want you to know that you're not alone. It's important to remember that having doubts or questions is a normal part of faith. Jesus Himself cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46 WEB), so we can see that even He understands our feelings of doubt and abandonment.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to take your thoughts and feelings to God in prayer. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB) He is always ready to listen and to help us in our time of need.
However, we noticed that your message does not mention Jesus Christ. We believe that it is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13 WEB)
Secondly, we want to encourage you to seek godly counsel. Proverbs 11:14 WEB tells us, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory." Talk to mature Christians in your life, such as friends, family members, or pastors. They can provide support, guidance, and a different perspective.
Lastly, we want to address your feelings towards attending church or reading the Bible. We understand that during times of doubt, these activities can feel challenging. However, we encourage you to remember that faith is a journey, and it's okay to have ups and downs. The Bible tells us, "Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but, let us exhort one another, and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25 WEB)
In light of these things, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this individual to You, asking that You would reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way. Lord, we pray that You would strengthen their faith and remove any doubts or fears they may have. We ask that You would surround them with godly counselors who can support and encourage them in their walk with You. We also pray that You would give them a desire to be in Your Word and in fellowship with other believers.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You reveal yourself to this person. That you will turn any heart that is not believing to believe in you. We pray that you will give them a full understanding of what you have done on the Cross and that you died for their sins. We pray for their repentance and salvation. We pray for their acceptance of you as Lord and Savior and for the Holy Spirit to fall on them and fill them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
