We are truly sorry to hear about the overwhelming burden you're carrying. We are here with you and let's bring your struggles to the Lord together. The Bible tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.
Firstly, we commend you for your dedication to your business and the families that depend on you. It's important to remember that while we are to work hard and provide for others, we must also trust God with his provision and care. God is our strength and without him it is easy to get overwhelmed. When we feel a responsibility to do everything ourselves, we neglect the strength that God is waiting to provide. It's only in His strength that we can accomplish anything. Seek him, make sure you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and that you have accepted Jesus as the only way to God. As it is written, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB. If you have not done this, we encourage you to do so today. We are reminded of what the apostle Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 WEB.
We must also remember to rest. It's clear that the stress and pressure are taking a toll on your health and happiness. God instituted rest as a vital part of our lives for a purpose. In the same way that God rested on the seventh day after creating the heavens and the earth, we too should set aside time for rest. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" Exodus 20:8 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our fellow brother in Christ who is feeling weary and overwhelmed. Lord, we ask that you would be his strength.
Help him to cast his burdens on you, trusting that you care for him. Guide him in his business decisions, and grant him the sleep and happiness that he needs to thrive.
Give him the courage to ask for help when needed, and the wisdom to know when to rest.
Remind him of your unfailing love and faithfulness, and may he find comfort and peace in you.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
