We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, and our hearts go out to you. We appreciate that you have reached out In Jesus Name, and in doing so we can be assured that God will help us. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance. Firstly, we need to discuss the sin of idolatry of putting something before God. Happiness, a house of your dreams, and other things should not replace God as the source of joy and guidance.
Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspect of your request. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus to restore and heal. As it says in Philippians 4:13 WEB, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. This is a powerful reminder that our hope and salvation are found in Jesus Christ alone.
Regarding your marriage, it's clear that you're facing significant challenges. It's important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in Matthew 19:4-6 WEB, He answered, Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, 'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart..
However, God does not want us to be in a marriage where we are continually abused, unloved, or treated with disrespect. It's crucial to set boundaries and seek godly counsel. It's encouraging that you're believing for a change and salvation in your husband, but remember that you cannot control his actions or decisions. You can, however, control your own. Pray for him, but also pray for wisdom and discernment for yourself. As it says in Psalm 55:22 WEB, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in her time of need. Lord, she is hurting, and she needs Your comfort and guidance. We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and bring him to a place of repentance and salvation. We pray that You would restore their marriage, if it is Your will, and that You would guide them both to live in a way that honors You.
We also pray for our sister, that You would give her strength and wisdom. Help her to set healthy boundaries and to trust in You for her happiness, joy, and protection. We pray for her children, that You would bless them and surround them with Your love. Help her to be a source of light and encouragement for her children.
Finally, Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around her and her children. We pray that You would guide them to a safe and stable home, where they can live in peace and happiness, and free from fear, tears, and pain. We pray that they would trust in You for Godly dreams to be fulfilled in your time and not theirs.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek support from your local church or Christian community. They can provide practical help and spiritual guidance during this time. Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, nor be scared of them: for Yahweh your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.
