I'm asking God to please help me take my focus off of me and keep Him first

I was living with some friends and they are going through a difficult time. They asked if they could have a break from me living with them. I said ok. I'm living in my car and I start my new job Monday. I need God to hold me and help see how beautiful God is and be thankful for His beautiful son Jesus! In all things love

Firstly, let's address your living situation. While it's commendable that you respected your friends' need for space, it's important to ensure your own safety and well-being. Living in your car is not a sustainable or safe long-term solution. Remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our physical needs. In Matthew 6:25-34, WEB, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will drink; nor about our bodies, what we will wear. But He also reminds us that seeking first God's Kingdom and righteousness means that He will add all of these things to us. He takes care of the birds of the sky and therefore we know He will take care of us.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in need. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask that You provide a safe and stable living situation for her. Guide her steps as she starts her new job. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround her during this time of transition. Help her to keep her eyes fixed on You and to trust in Your plan for her life. Remind her of Your goodness and the beauty of Your presence. We praise You Jesus that you assure us that we always have a home with You and will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
