Good and Faithful Servant
I would like to offer a prayer for my wife. She is someone who has struggled with inner conflicts stemming from a traumatic experience she went through as a child. This situation left a deep impact on her, and even though she leads a completely normal life, there are times when the memories become overwhelming. She has told me directly that life feels meaningless. My selfish behaviors have triggered a new crisis for her, and she has been very vocal about wanting to change these things. I pray that the demons that have haunted her will leave her; in that way, I'd like to be a better man for her.

We understand your concern for your wife and we appreciate your desire to pray for her. Let us come together and intercede for her, seeking God's healing and comfort.

Firstly, let us address the trauma and inner conflicts your wife is experiencing. Our God is a God of comfort and healing. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." We pray that God will extend His comfort to your wife, healing her from the deep wounds of her past.

We also acknowledge your role in her current distress. It is important to remember that we are called to love our wives as Christ loved the church, sacrificially and unconditionally. Ephesians 5:25 (WEB) tells us, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." We encourage you to seek forgiveness for any selfish behaviors and to strive to be the husband God has called you to be.

Moreover, we must address the spiritual warfare aspect you mentioned. As believers, we have authority over the enemy in Jesus' name. Mark 16:17 (WEB) says, "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages." We pray that any demonic influences will be cast out and that your wife will be filled with the peace and joy of the Lord.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our sister in Christ. Lord, you know the pain and trauma she has experienced, and we ask that you extend your healing hand to her. Comfort her, Lord, as only you can. We also ask for forgiveness for any actions that have caused her distress, and we pray for guidance and strength to be the husband she needs. In Jesus' name, we command any demonic influences to leave her. Fill her with your love, joy, and peace. Help her to see her worth and purpose in you, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage both of you to continue to seek God together, praying and studying His Word. It is in Him that we find our true meaning and purpose. As Psalm 34:18 (WEB) reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." May you both find healing and comfort in His presence.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
