I want to ask about something I call the" see=saw".No, not that plank of wood that 2 kids in a playground go up and down on.But like, a problem situation will pop up for me,God through changing the circumstances will deliver me from it ,but a short time later a similar problem pops up, by Gods grace I dodge the bullet again, but!!back to the next obstacle!So, wondering if this is just the natural progression of things to go back and forth, or it's a spiritual battle, like ,God delivers me, but the devil not giving up, comes back, and so on?What's up with the "see-saw?"

,God through changing the circumstances will deliver me from it

I have learned that God is not as interested in "changing out circumstances" as He is in having us change. Our minds need to be renewed.  God has given us a new spirit when we are saved, but our mind, will, and emotions are not new. If we do not learn what we need to know the first time around through our circumstances, we will encounter them again, and again, etc. Our circumstances can be changed if He sees we may be overcome by them, instead of overcoming them. But the same way we encountered the circumstances in the first place will happen again, because we did not learn the first time, and our "same way" will need to change to a different way, the way of Jesus.  Each circumstance is an opportunity to grow in our spiritual life. Each circumstance has a blessing in it and we need to find it, and grow. 

In the name of Jesus, I bless you with the life of God.

Welcome to the world of Christianity.  It is normal for a Christian to play dodge ball.   We are in warfare.  That is why we must dress for success daily (put on the whole armor of God).   The Shield of Faith.  You must use it well!

It is a bit of both, I think. We know from the Bible that the Devil is constantly on the lookout for ways to attack us, but we also know that life is filled with problems and and difficulties. Not all of our problems come from the devil. Some of our problems come from us, a direct reaction to our actions, some are from God, who is trying to teach us something, and some come from the Devil, who is watching and waiting for an opportunity to attack us.
