Beloved of All
I used to have Sundays off, and this is in accordance with the Bible. "6 days you shall work, BUT the 7th day is the Lord's day, you shall keep it holy." Furthermore, EVEN GOD TOOK A DAY OFF AFTER CREATION. "In 6 days He created the world, and on the 7th day He rested." And I didn't have to even fight for it, Sundays naturally slowed down, and the few people who hinted at it, I could easily control. But lately, it seems every Sunday some new person is craving for me to do something job-related for them. Usually the same few, but sometimes a few others chime in. AND THESE KNOW I'M OFF THAT DAY BECAUSE I TOLD THEM. But it goes in one ear and out the other. And they keep pushing it, which I feel is selfish, and worse yet, disrespectful of me. Request is that they LEAVE ME ALONE ON A SUNDAY, because even if I turn them down, it's irritating to deal with their selfish requests. Slaves work 7 days a week, not me.
