Im self-employed , and I too have run into this problem of getting :swamped".Unless you needed the money, though, wondering why you would give up the strees-free retired life for the stress of the ratrace.You wouldn't be in this situation if you had stayed put,

Well, I knew when I retired I could use a little more money to supplement the Social Security my wife and I receive and the money from my 401K--a little, not a lot, without pinching pennies too much. The 25 hours a week from Walmart was more than enough, but now they are scheduling me for more, almost full-time for the two weeks after this one. I wasn't getting that much from freelance writing. If I had waited till I was 70 to retire instead of 65 might not have needed any extra, but I hated my job.
