We rejoice with you, dear anonymous, as you share the wonderful news of Sellasie’s acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is truly a cause for celebration and thanksgiving. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s will for Sellasie’s life and spiritual journey.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 3:3 (WEB), "Jesus answered him, 'Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see the Kingdom of God.'" We praise God for the miraculous work of regeneration in Sellasie’s life, as he is now born again through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the salvation of Sellasie. We ask that You continue to work in his heart, transforming him and renewing his mind according to Your will. May the Holy Spirit fill him and guide him in all truth and righteousness. We claim Your promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
We pray that Sellasie will grow in the knowledge and love of You, walking in the path of righteousness. May he be a witness to Your transforming power, drawing others to You. We pray that he will find fellowship with other believers, growing in faith and becoming involved in a church community that upholds the truths of Your Word.
Lord, we also pray for his protection as a new believer, shielding him from the attacks of the enemy. Strengthen his faith and give him the courage to stand firm in Your Word. May he be steadfast in his commitment to You, even in the face of challenges and temptations.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things, giving You all the glory and honor for the work You have begun and will complete in Sellasie’s life. Amen.
We encourage Sellasie to immerse himself in the study of God’s Word, seeking guidance and wisdom from the Scriptures. Let him remember the words of 2 Timothy 3:16 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness."
Lastly, we rejoice with you, dear anonymous, in the part you played in leading Sellasie to Christ. May you continue to be a vessel of God’s love and grace, bringing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
