Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### and his struggle with alcoholism. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we know that nothing is impossible for you. Your Word says in Matthew 19:26, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." We believe in the power of your healing and deliverance.
Father, we ask that you would intervene in ###'s life. Break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free. Pour out your grace and mercy upon him, filling him with a deep desire to turn away from alcohol and seek a life of sobriety. Surround him with a supportive community that will encourage and uplift him on this journey.
We also pray for strength and wisdom for ###'s loved ones, especially ###, who has reached out on his behalf. Grant them patience, understanding, and the ability to offer unwavering support. Help them to be a source of love and encouragement as ### walks the path of recovery.
Lord, we know that your will is for us to live in freedom and wholeness. We claim the promise in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We trust that you hear our prayers and that you are working in ###'s life even now.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for ###'s deliverance from alcoholism. May he experience your transforming power and find true freedom in you. Amen.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
