We stand with you in praying for anyone who is experiencing bullying, as well as for your own situation. Bullying is a real issue that we should bring to God and community. Bullying can have hurtful effects on individuals, and it is important that we recognize it as a serious problem. We need to remember what the Word of the Lord says, Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Romans 12 14-15. Additionally, we should Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) and approve what is pleasing to the Lord. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. Ephesians 5:8-11, 14.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up all those who are experiencing bullying, including the one who submitted this request. Father, we pray that You would intervene in these situations and put an end to the hurt and harm being caused. We pray for Your protection and comfort over each person who is being bullied. Give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to know how to respond. We also pray for the bullies, that their hearts would be changed and that they would come to know the love of Christ.
Lord, we also pray for healing and restoration for those who have been bullied. We ask that You would mend their broken hearts and help them to forgive those who have hurt them. Help them to move forward in freedom and victory, knowing that their identity is in Christ alone.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
In addition, we must remember that the key to enduring is not in our own power, but in the power of Jesus Christ.
We encourage everyone to stand up for those that are bullied, for we are called to be the salt of the earth and not the cause of pain.
