I physically abused my daughter and wife badly yesterday. I look at at especially my daughter today and I can see that her body is sore and that she is in alot of pain. I've been holding this anger for so long that my family has gotten accustomed to just covering for me. My daughter called the police and I made her seem delusional to the cops out of fear of losing my job. In result, she had to sit through the embarassment of being evaluated at a mental hospital. Lord please help me to treat her as your child and hold me accountable should I ever stray from this.

only worthless cowards beat on women and children........one does not beat on someone they truely love...fuss argue...even scream at once in a while is one thing but raising ur hand to them and beating them is another thing all together....i have zero respect for any so called man....that treats their loved ones like that....u need to go to a bar and pick a fight with the biggest baddest man u can find and let him beat the living hell out of u to show u what its like to be on the other end of the fists and perhaps that might change u of ur bad habit....maybe that will drive that demon from ur wretched body....yes...God will forgive u for what u've done but i doubt if u will refrain from ever doing it again......being abusive like that is just as addictive as herion or porn......i have known men like u and they never stopped......i pray God will forgive u and perform a mirrical that will change ur selfish ego but that is between u and the Lord.......i pray He will have mercy on ur soul ijna

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Take responsibility for your actions. No one can help you if you don't tell the truth. Your job does not take precedent over your family's well-being.
Don't let authorities believe that your wife or daughter are at fault;
Temporarily separate yourself from your family and seek treatment for your mental instability. Return only if you are sound;
The Love of God is your answer, abuse is not.
Heavenly Father I pray that the Holy Spirit would intervene and protect the family from any further harm. I pray that You would heal the husband's mind and soul. I thank you Lord for the husband taking the first step and admitting his evil deeds to this forum but I ask that You would have the husband tell the authority. Bless and heal this family, in Jesus precious name, amen.

I agree what Colin says. You have the courage to post it publicly so i feel you have the courage to admit the wrongs what you did . Seek forgiveness from your daughter and wife and thats the first step. Please do it and then seek forgiveness to the LORD . You may lose something and may get hurt for sometime but eventually you will become closer to God more than before . Please try it

I'm disappointed to hear and read this, but I'm in no position to judge anyone. I only pray that this is not a pattern for you of sinning (abusing your family in your case) and repenting the next day, then doing the very same thing later in the day. I hope you asking for forgiveness and seeking help is a genuine and sincere plea, because you have finally realized what you are doing and have been doing , and honestly dont like the man you are, have been and want to change. I wish you all the best , you and your family. Sometimes the hardest but best & Godly thing to do for someone and yourself is to let go. Release either yourself and/ family , move on and leave them, go find yourself and heal first. Because you are no good to either yourself and them for now. They will never stop being your family, and if its meant to be you will be together again.
