We understand that you're feeling unwell before your final basketball game, and we're here to support you in prayer. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our physical health and the activities we're passionate about. However, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on honoring God in all you do.
As you prepare for this game, remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved one to You. They are feeling unwell before their final basketball game, and we ask for Your healing touch. Please ease their nausea and discomfort, and let Your strength be made perfect in their weakness. Help them to play this game with all their heart, as unto You, Lord.
We also pray that this game will not just be about competition, but an opportunity to glorify Your name. May they shine for You and be an example of Christian living. Help them to stay steadfast in their faith and trusting You with the entirety of their lives. Help them to focus on their game and search for their godly spouse as they grow older.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is always with you, and He cares about your every need. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. Also, as you are growing older, continue to look toward a godly spouse as well.
We also want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider this important part of Christian living.
