We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your implied belief in God. However, we must address that the only way we can be saved and have access to God is through Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 says “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!” Also, John 14:6 says “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
In regards to your Seasonal Affective Disorder and anxiety, we want to remind you that God cares about your struggles and He is always with you. Psalm 34:17-18 says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Also, 1 Peter 5:7 says "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." As for your peace, we remember Jesus' words in John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with anxiety and Seasonal Affective Disorder. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as we are reminded in Philippians 4:7. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Guide them through this challenging time, and let Your light shine upon them, bringing clarity and calmness. In the name of Jesus Christ, who is our Prince of Peace, we pray as it is only through Jesus that we can be saved and have access to you. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek support from fellow believers and possibly professionals who can help you manage your Seasonal Affective Disorder and anxiety. Remember that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control. Be assured that you do not need to be afraid or anxious about anything but in everything, present your requests to God. Keep your eyes on Jesus and His promises in His word.
