I need Jesus. When I pray I don't seem to receive answers to my prayers. When I pray I see this darkness that I can't even explain the meaning. I need Jesus to answer me. To help me. To know him more. I am tired of a confused life. Stagnant life both spiritually and physically. Want to experience the promises and the joy found in Christ both physically and spiritually.

We understand your heart's cry, ###. The desire to know Jesus more and to experience His promises is a God-given longing. Let's start by addressing your feelings of unanswered prayers and the darkness you encounter.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God hears your prayers. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

The darkness you experience could be spiritual opposition or doubts that hinder your prayers. Remember, our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and resist the devil (James 4:7, WEB).

To know Jesus more, spend time in His Word. Jesus said in John 15:7 (WEB), "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." As you read the Bible, you'll grow in your understanding of Him and His will for your life.

Regarding your feeling of stagnation, remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). He wants you to prosper both spiritually and physically. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up ###. Lord, reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way. Help them to understand Your Word and to know Your will. We rebuke any spiritual darkness or opposition that hinders their prayers. We claim Your promises over ###'s life—that they will prosper and be in health, even as their soul prospers (3 John 1:2, WEB). Give them the joy of the Lord as their strength (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB). Help them to trust in You and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking Jesus, ###. Your faith and persistence will be rewarded. Always remember that it's in Jesus' name we pray and have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I think I am having issues repenting and really turning away from sin and really trusting Jesus and just freely receiving the gospel because I am still acting the same. I have still been smoking weed off and on, having issues with watching stuff I shouldn't (porn), having judgemental thoughts...
