We understand your heart's cry, Yuntray. The desire to know Jesus more and to experience His promises is a God-given longing. Let's start by addressing your feelings of unanswered prayers and the darkness you encounter.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God hears your prayers. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
The darkness you experience could be spiritual opposition or doubts that hinder your prayers. Remember, our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and resist the devil (James 4:7, WEB).
To know Jesus more, spend time in His Word. Jesus said in John 15:7 (WEB), "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." As you read the Bible, you'll grow in your understanding of Him and His will for your life.
Regarding your feeling of stagnation, remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). He wants you to prosper both spiritually and physically. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up Yuntray. Lord, reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way. Help them to understand Your Word and to know Your will. We rebuke any spiritual darkness or opposition that hinders their prayers. We claim Your promises over Yuntray's life—that they will prosper and be in health, even as their soul prospers (3 John 1:2, WEB). Give them the joy of the Lord as their strength (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB). Help them to trust in You and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep seeking Jesus, Yuntray. Your faith and persistence will be rewarded. Always remember that it's in Jesus' name we pray and have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
