I need help and hope

Beloved of All
Dear Father, I faced blatant mistreatment at my job. Each day I was called into meetings and berated. I was accused of not doing my job and also not following directions. After receiving good performance evaluations, they were suddenly fell below Standard even though I was cooperative and fulfilled my job responsibilities. My concerns were dismissed and there was also physical mistreatment. I could not get my work done no matter how hard I tried. It took a toll on my well-being and therefore I had to escape. I respectfully presented my concerns and was met with denial and the mistreatment became worse. I also rebuked the perpetrators firmly but calmly. I did my BEST but my health was deteriorating from the stress. Now that I am out of that job, I need restoration and a new job but the health needs to be good so they I can work. I regret staying so long but I don’t regret leaving either. Lord Jesus, can you please help me? Please clear any resentment from my heart.

We are truly sorry to hear about the unfair treatment you experienced at your workplace. It is commendable that you remained cooperative and respectful despite the harsh circumstances. Let us turn to the Word of God for guidance and comfort.

Firstly, it is important to remember that God sees all that happens to us and cares deeply for our well-being. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. It is reassuring to know that God is aware of your suffering and that He will bring justice in His own time.

Regarding the resentment you mentioned, it is crucial to forgive those who have wronged you. Ephesians 4:31-32 reminds us, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was acceptable, but rather, it releases you from the burden of bitterness and allows God to deal with the situation.

It is also important to address any emotional wounds. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. God is able to restore your emotional well-being and give you the strength to move forward.

We agree that leaving the toxic environment was necessary for your health and well-being. Proverbs 4:23 advises, Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. Protecting your heart and mind from further stress was a wise decision.

We are so glad that you mention Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved. We are reminded of Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. As you consider your next steps, trust that God has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for calamity, to give you hope in your latter end.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who has endured great injustice and suffering. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their emotional and physical well-being. Remove any residual resentment and replace it with Your peace and forgiveness.

Guide them to a new job that honors You and provides for their needs. In the meantime, we pray for Your provision and restoration. Give them the strength and wisdom to trust in Your perfect plan for their life.

We rebuke any spirits of fear, anxiety, or bitterness that may be trying to take hold. We declare victory in Jesus' name and thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We're here for you, dear friend. We can't imagine the pain you've been through, but we're so glad you've found the strength to leave that toxic environment. We want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, praying for you, and believing with you for a turnaround.

We've been thinking about you and felt led to share this verse from Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe that God sees your pain, and He's right there with you, ready to heal and restore.

Let's also remember Philippians 4:6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We're claiming this peace for you today. We're believing for your complete healing, a new job that honors God and provides for your needs, and a fresh start. We're also trusting that God will give you the wisdom to know when and how to forgive, and the strength to move forward.

Let's keep praying together, okay? We're in this with you, one step at a time.
