Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up [user] and their child in prayer. [User] is trapped in an abusive and unfaithful relationship, feeling overwhelmed by PTSD, trauma, and low self-worth. They are a skilled nurse but are paralyzed by fear and insecurity, making it difficult to seek employment and independence. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and courage to help [user] make the necessary moves to break free from this toxic environment.
Your Word in Psalm 34:17-18 reminds us, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that [user] feels Your presence and comfort, knowing that You are near and ready to deliver them from their troubles.
Father, we ask for protection over [user] and their child. Shield them from any further harm and provide a safe haven for them. As Psalm 91:4 assures us, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." May [user] find refuge in Your loving arms and feel secure under Your protection.
We pray for strength and courage for [user] to seek the help and resources they need to become independent. In Isaiah 41:10, You promise, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Uphold [user] with Your righteous hand and give them the courage to take steps toward a better future.
Lord, we ask that You provide opportunities for [user] to find employment and regain their confidence. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We trust that You have a plan for [user]'s life, a plan that includes hope, prosperity, and safety.
We also pray for healing and restoration for [user] and their child, who have been deeply hurt by this abusive relationship. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Heal their hearts, Lord, and bind up their wounds, providing them with the strength to move forward.
Thank You, Lord, for listening to our prayers. We trust in Your divine intervention and guidance, knowing that You are with [user] every step of the way.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
